The Scarsdale High School PTA is a non-partisan, volunteer organization that joins parents and teachers in a common enterprise: enhancing the education and enriching the lives of our children. This goal is accomplished in a variety of ways including sponsoring specific programs for the students, sharing parenting support, providing information to parents about the school and activities, and creating opportunities for administration, teachers, parents, and students to work together and communicate with one another.
PTA Meetings are open to everyone. Programs cover a variety of topics and may include outside speakers as well as high school or district personnel. The meeting dates are listed in the community calendar and publicized in the PTA newsletter.
Volunteers are always welcome. Click here to help on any committee. By participating in the PTA, you have an opportunity to learn about SHS, contribute to your child’s experience, and demonstrate your interest in and commitment to your child’s education.
The SHS PTA is a member unit of the National PTA as well as the New York State organization.
